#1100: Promise
If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Promise you would immediately fall in love with her care free attitude and calm demeanor.
Promise came to us with severe injuries on her withers which required immediate veterinary care. Many questioned if her injuries were too severe to come back from, but she soon turned the corner and began to live up to her name.
We tried managing her injuries conservatively, unfortunately those efforts failed, daily wound cleaning and packing were not enough. We raised money for the required surgery, and with the help of Delaney Vet Services we were able to get her the much needed care.
Currently, Promise is living proof that we can in fact make a difference! She is doing well, very tolerant of her ongoing daily wound care and has been extremely patient and tolerant of her current management. We have high hopes that Promise will soon be able to join her own "Forever Home" with a family that appreciates all that she has been through.
Our journey began with the rescue of 100 starving Arabian horses. It will not end there.
We are an organization of dedicated volunteers who are determined to continue to offer care, love and healing to animals that have survived abuse. It is our missions to rehabilitate these animals and place them into loving and capable forever homes.
