Horse #1152 Lila
QH type
Bay Mare- Approx age: 5 years old
Profile Update: Lila is a beautiful bay mare. She is quiet and gentle when you are out in the pasture with her. Lila has a turned leg and is only suitable as a companion. But what a gorgeous companion she would be. Think of spending a summer afternoon just brushing her glistening coat and having the stress of the day just fall off as you look in her huge liquid eyes.

Horse #1104 Mickey
Gelding- Approx age: Weanling
Mickey is a Chestnut colt of the Quarter Horse type. He is under a year old and although he was shy when he first arrived, he is warming up very nicely to our volunteers. He was one of the first to show off his nice blue collar. His dam is Molly ( 1104) and he was nursing when he arrived at Rescue 100 but has since been weaned. Profile Update: Mickey always wants to know what’s going on. He stands for brushing, and is working on balance when his feet are picked up for cleaning. He leads well outside and in the arena and barn areas. Mickey has a lot of zip to his personality, and will be a lot of fun to watch progress through his training. He is also going to be a beautiful quarter horse type when he grows up.

Horse #1160 Black Beauty
Black QH
Mare- Approx age: 2-4
This beautiful black mare is still quite young. We figure she is between 2-4 years old and is of the Quarter Horse type. Her height is approximately 14'2 hands high.
Profile Update: Black Beauty is a stunning quarter horse type. She is very curious and will follow you like a puppy. Black Beauty is coming along very nicely with the halter training and should be leading like a champ and picking up her feet very soon. She is learning quickly that people are a great source of oats and neck scratches and will only get better with more human interaction and time. All she needs is someone to point her in the right direction for whatever discipline they desire.

Horse #1199- Sofia
This filly is starting to come around, at first she really wasn't sure about the whole human friendship experience. She is starting to think we might not be so bad after all. She needs lots of TLC and time being people for her to gain trust and find a new "forever home".
Our journey began with the rescue of 100 starving Arabian horses. It will not end there.
We are an organization of dedicated volunteers who are determined to continue to offer care, love and healing to animals that have survived abuse. It is our missions to rehabilitate these animals and place them into loving and capable forever homes.
